Light Walls & Rich Brown

For those who started reading this blog on Christmas, you probably didn’t know my true passion was Home Design. Even though I do like for this blog to talk about everything, ranging from Blogging Tips to Fashion Guide, I also love to talk about beautiful interiors. I never have enough of Pinterest and when I’m not pinning, I’m probably reading Milk Magazine. Now that you’ve been warned, let’s take a look at today’s post.

Lately I’ve found myself craving nature: by creating my own wreath for Christmas, by buying flowers or by watching documentaries. I enjoy long walks and I’m careful when buying local products. Through the years I’ve always preferred green pastures to high buildings.

It’s no surprise I feel the same towards Home Design. I absolutely adore mixing white, light gray or creamy walls with handmade furniture. Wood over plastic all the way!

A nice parquet, exposed beams, a dining table, I take it all. In these pictures, you’ll find a variety of easy pieces of furniture you can find everywhere without spending too much. There’s something about wood that just screams ‘coziness’. In my vision of a perfect life in a perfect house, I can’t imagine myself gathering my family over a table made of glass. It’s gorgeous, I’ll give you that, but it doesn’t give the same vibe to the place.

  9. I totally agree! I feel like wood is getting left behind amongst all the white minimalism. Those photos are stunning. A++ choices!

  11. I adore interior design as well, and these photos are so lovely and inspiring! I agree, wood is so much more cozy. Glass, particularly on a table, is a little too sterile, and it can’t be as well loved over time like a wood table. There’s not as much charm.
